Equipment

  • 8-inch skillet or medium sauce pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp Tex-Mex Spice Blend
  • ½ tsp Ancho chili powder
  • ½ tsp New Mexico chili powder
  • ½ white onion – finely chopped
  • 3 clove garlic – minced
  • 16 ounce black beans – one can
  • ¼ cup cilantro – chopped

Instructions
 

  • In an 8” skillet or medium sauce pan, bring oil up to medium heat.

  • Add Tex Mex spice blend, chili powders and onion to the pan.

  • Cook until onions are translucent.
