Equipment

  • 1 small sauce pan
  • 1 wire whisk

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup cold water
  • 3 tsp corn starch
  • ½ cup light soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp fresh ginger minced
  • 1 tsp garlic minced

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together water and cornstarch in a small saucepan.
  • Whisk in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Simmer for about 4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
