Ingredients
  

  • 2 limes - juiced
  • 1 jalapeño - hot (skin blistered), finely chopped
  • ½ cup onion - white, chopped
  • 1 tsp Tex-Mex spice blend
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt - coarsely ground
  • 2 tomatoes - Roma, diced
  • ½ cup cilantro - torn

Instructions
 

  • Add lime juice, jalapeño, onion, salt, and Tex-Mex spice blend to your molcajete. Crush these together a bit, but not too much.
  • Add tomatoes, and gently crush some more.
  • Fold in diced avocado and torn cilantro.
  • Adjust salt and lime as needed.
